Would you like the opportunity to join Music BC this May in Mexico?
BC musicians and industry representatives are invited to apply to attend The International Music Fair (FIMPRO) this May in Guadalajara, Mexico. This is a rare and valuable chance for industry professionals to join Music BC as part of a trade mission, while successful BC artists would be offered a chance to showcase at Music BC’s Canada House at FIMPRO. Past performers include Harpoonist & the Axe Murderer, Little Destroyer, and The Tourist Company.
WHAT IS FIMPRO?
The International Music Fair (FIMPRO) is a project oriented to attend, study and develop the various aspects and relevant themes of music today. FIMPRO seeks to position itself as a platform for promotion, commercial space and meeting point to make agreements and business between local creators and programmers of national and international events.
APPLICATION PROCESS:
- Submit your application below for a chance to showcase.
- Applications open January 8th, 2019 and close January 31, 2019 at 11:59PM (PST).
- Artists chosen to perform will be decided by the festival.
- Selected artists will be notified directly by e-mail by Music BC.
- Applications from all genres, genders, cultures and other measures of diversity are encouraged.
