After three truly magical sets by each of the Top 3 PEAK Performance Project Finalists in front of a sold out crowd at The Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver last night, the final order of their ranking was revealed. Congratulations to our first place artist RYKKA!
The 2013 Top 3 PEAK Performance Artists are:
First Place: Rykka – $102,700
Second Place: Hannah Epperson -$75,000
Third Place: BESTiE – $50,000
On November 5th, the top 5 2013 PEAK Performance Artists were announced on 102.7 The PEAK. The announcement named Good For Grapes and Willhorse as the 4th and 5th placed artists respectively and the top 3 were named in no particular order. At the same time tickets went on sale for the PEAK Performance Project Finale at The Commodore Ballroom that would feature performances by the top 3 artists and the eventual revealing of the final rankings for them. Once again the show quickly sold out and the anticipation to see the top 3 PEAK Performance Artists perform and watch over $225,000 remained as high as ever.
Now in its 5th year this award winning program from 102.7 The PEAK and Music BC has seen over $3 million dollars invested into the BC music community, and 100 artists have benefited from the education, exposure, networking and development funds the project has to offer. This year the Top 20 PEAK Performance Artists raised over $60,000 cash in charitable donations for many worthwhile charities.
