Congratulations to the Top 3 Peak Performance Project Artists:

These three will be sharing $275,000 towards career development! The prize order (1st place – $150,00 2nd place – $75,000 and 3rd place – $50,00) will be announced at the final showcase on January 22nd 2010, at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver. Tickets go on sale Friday Dec 18th through Ticketmaster for $10.05! Visit ticketmaster.ca for details.
There was also a special announcement made involving the 4th and 5th placed artists – who will receive an automatic ‘in’ for next year’s top 20!

Peak Performance Project Final Show
The top 3 Peak Performance Bands will take to the stage at the Commodore Ballroom on Friday, January 22nd, 2010!
It is at this concert that they will find out their place and prize – 1st place taking home $150,000, 2nd $75,000 and 3rd place recieving $50,000.
As well as the top money prizes, special awards will be given out to the other bands in the top 20 for their achievements during the program!
Tickets go on sale Friday, December 18th through Ticketmaster for $10.05 (plus service charges).
MUSIC BC MEMBER DISCOUNT – we have a limited number of tickets available for current, paid members to purchase at face value with no added service charges! You must come to the office for purchase and pick up (payments accepted are cash, debit, Visa, MC or Amex). You can visit during working hours (9-5 Monday to Friday), at our entrance address: #530-23 West Pender st.
$10.05 each, limit 4 tickets per person.
Make A Case Against Racism
Deadline: January 8th, 2010.
Music BC is requesting song submissions from music artists from BC. 10 songs will be selected by a peer jury for a compilation, and licensed by Music BC to be made available to the public. Your song, should it be selected, will be included on a CD compilation, limited MP3 download from Music BC, and as part of a streaming ‘Top 10 Countdown’ that will provide background information about the music and how it encourages respect for people and diversity, which will be accessed by Grade 4-7 students and teachers across BC. The countdown will be available streaming on the EmbraceBC webpage in March 2010.
