As Music BC is based out of Vancouver, members of our Board of Directors are also from the lower mainland. Music BC strives to give a voice to all music communities across BC, and we need your help to do that!

Music BC has formed a new Regional Advisory Committee, with Steve Dickson (board member, and President of PHD Canada Distribution) as the Chair of the Committee.

If you are interested in being considered for the Regional Advisory Committee please email info@musicbc.org with a brief bio, the area outside the lower mainland you are from, and why you believe you would be a great addition to Music BC's Regional Advisory Committee.

ATTENTION PRINCE GEORGE:

Steve will be at Music BC’s This Business of Music seminar on Thursday May 29th, 2008 from 7pm - 10pm at The Prince George Civic Centre, Room 203. We are looking for an individual from the Prince George region to join our Regional Advisory Committee. This is a volunteer position which requires that you are able to participate in emails and phone calls with the committee from time to time. If you are currently employed in some capacity within the music industry in the Prince George area, have a lot of contacts within the industry in the Prince George area, and feel that you can speak to concerns and updates in regards to the Prince George area music community, we’d love to speak to you! Please come down to the seminar and let Amanda know at the Music BC sign-in table that you’d be interested in joining the Regional Advisory Committee, and she will introduce you to Steve!
